This knife is made by using high carbon steel (standard SK-4) and applied Sakai city traditional quenching technique together with careful polishing. That maintains its sharpness last long. And allows for both great ease of sharpening and sustainability of the cutting edge angle. This knife will rust, but the rust is iron oxide (Fe2O3) and is harmless to the body. Handle – Mixed Plywood.
