It uses long-lasting energy efficient LED bulbs that are rated for 50,000-hour lamp life. This combo night light and receptacle has UL listed shutters to prevent the insertion of foreign objects. This is a great safety feature for children. The nightlight features full dimming as well as 3-preset levels. For devices that are mounted in a series, they can be controlled by an external switch in guide light mode. The terminal screws are backed out to help ease the installation.
