Exquisite Grecian style vintage beautifully carved shell cameo convertible brooch or pendant in 925 sterling silver (marked on the back pin portion) with a small gold twisted wire at the base of the bezel. Can be worn as either a brooch or a pendant, adding a touch of elegance to any outfit.
The woman on the front of the cameo has classic Greek features with grapes and grape leaves in her hair. The back is embossed with a signature or maker's mark that appears to be of Eastern-European or Middle Eastern design.

Measures approx 1 3/8 inches long x 1 1/16 inches wide. When hanging as a pendant, the cameo is approx 1 1/2 inches long.
This cameo is in good preowned condition. The clasp on the back works well and the pendant loop swings freely. There is natural oxidized discoloration of the sterling silver metal that can be cleaned with a rouge cloth.
